Controls
Tap or click a pipe to turn it a quarter turn clockwise. Right-click turns it back. The buttons under the board open the level list, undo, reset the level and give a hint. Keys: arrows move the cursor, Space, Enter or E turns the pipe clockwise, Q turns it back, Z or Backspace undoes, R resets, H hints, L opens the level list. P or Esc pauses.
How to play Flow Fixer
Every board is a grid of pipe pieces, most of them turned the wrong way. Tap a piece to rotate it. Fluid runs from the source along every pipe that lines up, and you can watch it fill as you work. The puzzle is solved when every pipe on the board carries fluid, every outlet is fed and no open pipe end leaks.
Some boards have more than one source. Each one pumps its own colour, and each outlet needs its own colour too. If two colours meet, the fluid turns muddy, so the streams have to be kept apart. Each puzzle has exactly one solution.
Five worlds and new pieces
There are 120 puzzles, 24 in each of five worlds, and the boards grow from 4 by 4 to 9 by 9. The Garden waters flowers and adds bolted pipes that never turn. The Farm brings four-way junctions and bridges, which carry two streams across each other without touching. The Factory adds a second colour, sometimes a third.
In the City, some pipes are cracked. The dots show how many turns a cracked pipe has left before it rusts in place, and undo is the way to free it. The Space Station adds linked valves: tap one and every valve on the board flips between open and closed. Solve a puzzle within the par number of moves for three stars.
Tips and tricks
- Start at the source and the outlets. Pieces there often have only one way to fit, and each one you fix narrows down its neighbours.
- A pipe on the edge of the board can never point outward, since that end would leak.
- Plan a cracked pipe's turns before you touch it. If it rusts the wrong way, undo is free and gives the turns back.
- Each puzzle can offer a short ad for a hint that sets one pipe the right way, up to three per puzzle. Skip it and you get nothing, but the button stays so you can try again.
