Controls

Hold Left or Right (or A and D) to move your ship around the tunnel wall. On a phone or tablet, hold the left or right half of the screen. After a crash, tap or press any key to try again. P or Esc pauses.

How to play Tunnel Twist

Your ship flies down a neon tunnel on its own. All you do is steer it around the tunnel wall. Walls come at you with a gap in them, and the ship has to be lined up with the gap when the wall arrives. Bars, spinning crosses and walls that turn as they come make it harder the deeper you go.

Touch anything and you crash. The percentage on the crash card shows how far into the level you got.

Levels, stars and Endless

There are 30 levels, and each one is the same every time you play it, so you can learn it. Clear a level on your first try for three stars, in three tries or fewer for two, or any way you can for one. Clearing a level opens the next one.

You get three tries at a level. After that you can watch a short ad for three more, or go back to the level list. Endless mode has no finish line: the tunnel speeds up and the patterns get harder until you crash. Once per run you can watch an ad to revive and keep going.

Tips and tricks

  • Look past the next wall. The gap after it decides which way you should already be turning.
  • Short taps work better than holding. Overshooting the gap is the most common crash.
  • A spinning bar is easier to pass on the side it is turning away from.
  • Turn on Comfort mode in the main menu if the flashing colours bother you. It keeps the colours soft and the tunnel steady.
