Controls

Tap a grill plate to cook a patty and tap it again when it says READY. Tap the bun and fillings in the order shown, then tap the customer to serve. Tap a machine to start fries, a soda, a shake or a hot dog, and tap it again to put the item on the tray. The trash button clears the tray. Keys: 1 to 5 the grills, Q W E R T Y U the ingredients, A S D F the machines, X trash, Space serve. P or Esc pauses.

How to play Burger Rush

You run a small diner. Each customer holds up an order. Build it on the tray, then tap that customer to hand it over. A burger is a bun, the fillings in the exact order on the ticket, and a bun on top to close it. A soda, a shake, fries or a hot dog is a machine: tap once to start it, tap again when it is done to drop it on the tray.

Patties cook on the grill. Tap a plate to lay one down and grab it when it says READY. Leave it and it burns. The trash button dumps a wrong tray so you can start that order again.

Days, tips and the kitchen

Each day has a cash goal. Fast service pays a bigger tip, and serving customers back to back builds a combo. Hit the goal and the day is cleared. Coins from tips go toward kitchen upgrades that make the next day a little kinder.

There are more than 30 days. Later tickets ask for taller burgers and more drinks at once, so the tray fills up fast. Your best day and your upgrades stay on this device.

Tips and tricks

• Start the patty before you pick up the bun. The grill is the slow part.
• Read the whole ticket before the first tap. One filling out of order means the burger is wrong.
• Serve the customer whose bubble is flashing first. A combo is worth more than a perfect burger served late.
• If a rush goes bad you can watch a short ad for a little extra time. Skip it and you get nothing, but the button stays so you can try again.
