Controls

Swipe left or right to change lanes and to turn at rooftop corners, swipe up to jump and swipe down to slide. Dragging with the mouse works the same way. On a keyboard, the Left and Right arrows or A and D change lanes and turn, the Up arrow, W or Space jumps, and the Down arrow or S slides. P or Esc pauses.

How to play Sky Courier

You are a courier with a glowing parcel on your back, running across the rooftops of a floating city at sunset. You run forward on your own, and the roof has three lanes. Vent towers block some lanes, so move to an open one. Jump over AC units, slide under neon billboards that span the whole roof, and slide under or step around the drones that hover at head height. Hit any of them and the run is over.

Every rooftop street ends at a corner, and glowing cyan arrows on the roof show which way it turns. Some corners let you go either way. Swipe toward an arrow before you reach the edge. Miss the turn and you run off the roof and fall. Your score is the meters you run plus five points for every coin.

Sky-cars, power-ups and speed

Short gaps between buildings can be jumped. Wide gaps are bridged by hovering sky-cars, so pick the lane with a car, jump onto its roof and ride across. Run into the side of a car instead and you crash. Watch for a blinking signal: some cars slide into another lane as you come close. You speed up the farther you run, and the obstacles come closer together.

Every 600 meters a green DROP ZONE crosses the roof. Run over it to deliver the parcel for 20 coins. Two power-ups float above the lanes. The coin magnet pulls nearby coins to you. The jetpack lifts you above every obstacle, speeds you up, takes the corners for you and leaves a trail of coins in the air.

Tips and tricks

• Turn early. A swipe made close to the corner is saved and used at the right moment, while a turn made right at the edge makes you stumble and slow down.
• Changing lanes into a vent tower also makes you stumble, so check the lane before you swipe.
• Swipe down in mid-air to drop back to the roof fast.
• Coins from every run go into your bank. Spend them after a run on upgrades that make the magnet and the jetpack last longer, up to level 5 each.
• Missions such as Collect 40 coins in one run or Ride 3 sky-cars in one run add bonus coins to your bank, and each mission pays more than the last.
• After a fall or crash you can watch a short ad once per run to revive, back on the roof with a moment of protection. You can also watch one for a coin magnet that lasts your whole next run. If you skip the ad you get nothing, but you can try again.
