Phone and tablet: use the on-screen arrows, SPIN and FLY buttons; the game plays upright, so hold your phone in portrait.
How to play
TOSA is a small car that can fly, and flying cars are not allowed in this town. Every level is a chase: reach the hideout at the end of the road before the police catch you. Change lanes to dodge traffic, trucks and cops cutting you off, and press FLY to hop over roadblocks, gaps and broken bridges.
Jumps are not free. Each jump costs one charge from your battery, so collect the blue cells on the road (three cells make one jump) and drive through charging lanes to fill it up. A crash costs a heart; lose all three and you are busted.
Spins, loops and combos
- Spin in the air for points and half a jump of charge, but finish the spin before you land or it counts as a bad landing.
- On ramps and loops, tap SPIN when the ring turns green for a perfect move.
- Near misses and clean landings in a row build your combo and your score.
Five worlds, twenty levels
The chase starts Downtown and moves through The Tunnel, The Bridge and the Highway before the final run along the Space Coast to the launch pad. Each world brings something new: police helicopters with searchlights, blackouts, thick fog, crosswinds, falling rocks, moving barriers and a boss level. Levels unlock one by one on the level map, and the game remembers your progress and your best score on each level.
Tips
- Save a jump for the end of a level: the last stretch is usually the hardest.
- Do not fly over every car. Changing lanes is free, flying is not.
- Under a helicopter, hide below bridges and stay out of the light.
- At the start of a level you can refill your hearts or add an extra jump by watching an ad.
