How to play Neon Orbit
Your little ship circles a planet all by itself. A dotted line shows where it will fly the moment you let go, and one tap, click or press of Space sends it off along that line.
Aim for the glowing ring around another planet: fly into it and its gravity catches you, and your ship starts orbiting again. Miss every ring and you drift into deep space; touch the red debris and your run is over.
Combos and stars
Every capture scores points, and quick hops score more. Leave a planet soon after you are caught and the next capture builds a combo, so a fast chain of jumps is worth far more than a slow, careful one.
Gold stars float between the planets. Fly through one for bonus points; they are often placed on the risky route, so decide whether the extra points are worth it.
Tips and tricks
- Watch the dotted line, not the ship. Launch when the line crosses the next ring, not when the ship points at the planet.
- Bigger rings are easier to hit. When in doubt, go for the big planet and save the small ones for when your combo is safe.
- Debris moves slowly and in straight lines, so wait one more lap if a piece is about to cross your path.
- After a crash you can watch a short ad to revive once and keep your score.
