How to play Magnet Miner
Your crane carries a magnet that is either red or blue. Red pulls in red ore and pushes blue ore away; blue does the opposite. Tap to flip the polarity and slide the crane left and right to get under the ore you want.
Gold nuggets stick to either pole and are worth three times as much. Catching the wrong colour jams the magnet for a moment, so a clumsy flip costs you time.
Bombs and shockwaves
Bombs stick to both poles, so you cannot simply push them away. Every flip, though, sends out a shockwave that blasts nearby things aside. Flip at the right moment and you swat a bomb away just before it reaches the magnet.
You have three lives. Catch ore one after another to build a chain worth up to five times the points, and after the last life you can watch a short ad to revive once with one life.
Tips and tricks
- Flip when a bomb is close, not when it is still far away: the shockwave only reaches things near the magnet.
- Line up under a group of ore of one colour before you flip, so a single flip pulls in several pieces.
- Gold is safe on either pole, so grab it even in the middle of a chain.
- If the magnet jams, move away from the bombs until it recovers.
