Controls

Tap a traffic light, or the lane just before it, to switch it between green and red. Tap a car to hold it. On a keyboard, press Space to flip every light or 1 to 9 to toggle single lights. P or Esc pauses.

How to play Traffic Conductor

Cars pour in from every road and you are in charge of the lights. Tap a traffic light, or the lane just before it, to switch it between green and red. You can also tap a car to hold it in place, and tap it again to let it go.

Each level gives you a target number of cars to get through the junction. Any crash fails the level. Cars that wait too long lose patience, turn angry and drive through the red light, so you cannot keep a road stopped forever.

Junctions, stars and levels

There are 14 levels, from a single crossroads to multi-junction grids, roundabouts and T-junctions. Later levels add turning cars, slow trucks and faster traffic. A short hint appears on some of the early levels.

Every level earns 1 to 3 stars: one for finishing, one for beating the par time and one for reaching the near-miss goal by letting cars slip past each other. Clearing a level unlocks the next, and your stars are saved so you can replay any junction to improve them.

Tips and tricks

• Give one road the green at a time, and let the queue clear before you switch.
• Trucks are long and slow, so leave room for them to get all the way through.
• On roundabouts, hold the entering cars while the ring is busy, then let them in one at a time.
• Tap a car to hold it if a turning car needs a gap to cross another lane.
• If a crash ends your run, you can watch a short ad once per level to undo it and carry on.
