Drag a good to a free slot on another shelf, or tap it and then tap the shelf. Keys: arrows move, Space or Enter picks up and drops, R restarts, L opens the level list. P or Esc pauses.
How to play Shelf Sort
The shop is a stack of shelves, and each shelf has a few slots. Drag a good into an empty slot on another shelf. When one shelf holds three identical goods, they pop and the slots open up. Pop several times in a row and the combo climbs.
Clear a shelf and the hidden layer behind it slides forward, with a new row of goods. The level is done when every layer is gone.
Ice, chains and 60 shops
Some goods are frozen. Each pop anywhere in the shop melts the ice a little, and a frozen good cannot be picked up until it thaws. Some shelves are chained and only open after a set number of pops.
There are 60 levels, laid out so each one can be cleared. Early shops are a single layer. Later ones stack layers, ice and locks together.
Tips and tricks
- Do not fill every slot. You need an empty space to move the good that completes a trio.
- Melt ice before you plan around a frozen good. It will not move until the pops add up.
- Open a chained shelf as soon as you can. The goods behind it are often the match you are missing.
- Stuck? Watch a short ad for an extra empty slot. Skip it and you get nothing, but the button stays so you can try again.
