Controls

Swipe a gem, or tap two neighbouring gems, to swap them. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys, press Space to select a gem, then press an arrow to swap. M opens the level map. P or Esc pauses.

How to play Rasta Crush

Swap two neighbouring gems to line up three or more of the same kind in a row or column. Matched gems pop, the ones above fall down and new ones drop in, which can set off chain reactions for extra points and a cheer like “Irie!”.

Every level has a goal and a limited number of moves. Some ask you to reach a score, some to clear all the pink jelly from under the board, and some to collect a number of one kind of gem. Reach the goal before the moves run out.

Specials and jelly

Match four in a row to make a Line Blaster that clears a whole row or column. Match an L or T shape to make a Bomb that blasts the area around it. Match five in a row to make a Jah Ball: swap it with any gem and it clears every gem of that colour. Swap two specials together for an even bigger combo.

Jelly clears when the gem on top of it is cleared, and double jelly needs two hits. If you hit the goal with moves to spare, the level ends with Rasta Rush: each spare move turns into a bonus blast and adds to your score. Reach the score targets for up to three stars.

Tips and tricks

• Make matches near the bottom of the board first: they shake up everything above and can trigger free cascades.
• Save a Jah Ball for a busy colour, or combine it with another special for a huge clear.
• On jelly levels aim your matches at the jelly, and on collect levels keep an eye on the counter for the gem you need.
• If no moves are left the board reshuffles by itself, so you never get stuck on a dead board.
