Controls

Tap or click a mirror to rotate it, and drag mirrors and prisms from the tray onto empty cells. On a keyboard, move the cursor with the arrow keys and press Space to rotate or place; H is a hint, R resets and L opens the level list. P or Esc pauses.

How to play Light Bender

Each level is a small grid with a white light source that fires a beam in one direction. Your job is to steer that beam so it lands on every glowing crystal. Tap a mirror to turn it 90° and the beam re-routes at once.

Many levels also give you a tray of extra mirrors and prisms. Drag them onto empty cells (or pick one and tap a cell), and drag a placed piece to move it. Walls block light, so plan your route around them.

Prisms, colours and filters

A prism splits white light into three beams: red turns left, green carries straight on and blue turns right. Every crystal wants a specific colour, shown by its ring, and it only lights up when it receives exactly that colour. Red and green together make yellow, green and blue make cyan, and red and blue make magenta.

Coloured filters let only their own colour through, which is handy for sorting out a mixed beam. Levels unlock one after another, and you earn up to three stars on each: match the par number of moves for all three.

Tips and tricks

• Trace the beam from the source with your eye before you touch anything. Most levels have only one sensible route.
• Remember where a prism sends each colour, then work backwards from the crystal you need to light.
• A crystal stays dark if it receives a colour it does not want. If one goes out, check whether a second beam is landing on it.
• Stuck? Tap Hint and watch a short ad: one piece is put in its correct place and locked in gold. You get up to three hints per level, and Reset (R) restarts the level for free.
